I conduct interdisciplinary research in information studies with a focus on urban studies, exploring embodiment, aging, and public space in Japan. My work examines how rituals, infrastructures, and everyday practices sustain, or challenge, experiences of belonging, and I am carrying out this research under the supervisions of Prof. Yuko Itatsu and Associate Prof. Ai Hisano.
